GoldenEye: Source is a total conversion mod in development using the Source engine developed by Valve Corporation for the computer game, Half-Life 2. GoldenEye: Source is based on the award winning Nintendo 64 video game, GoldenEye 007, featuring Ian Fleming's secret agent, James Bond. The original game was developed by Rare and published by Nintendo in 1997. An alpha release was distributed on December 25, 2005 receiving more than 65,000 downloads in 2 weeks. A Beta release of GoldenEye: Source was scheduled for December 25, 2006, but was released on December 26, 2006.

I already told some of you guys about it this mod (mp only, no campaign), it's quite awesome (at first the aiming is a bit weird, but after some time it gets really fun)

The download is only 182mb big so IMO it's totally worth the download. (You obviously need a source based game to make it work)

The only contra about downloading is that there's only like 7 servers, but if we'd all download it we'd sure have some fun.

Played a round, must be some sort of bypass because the only dude was Invincible... Kinda leave a bad taste in the mouth for a first time online play. Also i tho bunny hopping like mad was only for BF2.

Whats your SteamID? You can always hit me up for some games, I just played on a full server. If people see that some guys are on a server they fill up quite fast.

Oh gawd I remember that first level on the video. I played it back when my mate won himself a N64 and this game - I was hopeless. After he got tired of simply shooting and killing me he just resorted to acting as a moving target, running past me yelling, (for some strange reason,) "MONA LISA!"
The one time I managed to shoot and kill him my celebrations were so much that I broke his bedside table.

It's alright. The fun comes from the memories of playing the original, and most of the people who play it are hilarious on voip. But if it was released as a brand new game nobody had ever seen before, well let's just say, Miggle'd have a field trip.
