The difference = BFBC has longevity. MGS4 does not.

Also, different type of gameplay.

I just had the most epic round

400 points, got a fair few trophies including the one for highest score of the round
2/3 of the way through the match the game's sound went out and lag started kicking in

Too bad Sergeant has no unlock credits

BFBC has longevity?

Considering everyone I know lost interest in halo 3 several months after getting it. I don't see how this can do any better.

Sure, MGS4 focuses on singleplayer, but it has multiplayer, and plenty of reasons to replay singleplayer.

And with consoles TPS games will always be better than FPS games unless they learn to use mice, and that's never going to happen.

Oh, and by the way, when I pre-ordered BFBC, I went to gamestop to get Bad Company, I got more money back from my ps2 that I expected, so I got MGS4 as well. I had no plans of getting MGS4 originally.

Yeah, same here...I'm not bashing MGS4, nor am I denying it's a good game. But BFBC will last longer because the multiplayer is 1) on both consoles and 2) going to be updated with conquest mode soon.

Yes, because BFBC's MP = Halo 3's MP.

And Halo 3 is far from people losing interest in it. MLG still has competitions for it and it's still one of the top played multiplayers right behind CoD4.

Halo will have much more longevity than BFBC, I can almost guarantee it.

I was responding to his first statement, I know Halo isn't dead, and I wouldn't expect it to be for another year or two, but it's losing a lot of it's casual players.

Finally got mine, metal box ftw!

Completed the SP lol, was shorter than I thought, tried it on med difficulty and died a good few times. Next to try it on hard.
