They took down the Playstation Store the day before the update for it. Maybe they're about to release firmware 2.40?!?

Oh well, I'll be at work anyway.  I wonder if it's just a coincidence that it's the day Bad Company gets released in stores (fuck you Poseidon).  I really hope they're improving the online system. 

And what's going to be included in 2.40?

2.40 is gonna have in-game XMB and the trophy system (probably not ALL games but a fair few).

Basically, we'll finally get the PS3 version of the 360's in-game guide and achievements system. I'm just hoping tomorrow's maintenance is in anticipation of the release of 2.40

That sounds awesome.  The multiplayer features on the x360 are really the only things I prefer between the two systems.  Hopefully this will entice more people into buying PS3's.

Yeah, I'm really excited about 2.40, hopefully we'll get it sooner or later. We'll be in good shape then, and the only thing left is Home this fall/winter (hopefully).
