Especially considering "Marines" is not limited to only US Marines, and CoD mixes up the countries as seen in pretty much every CoD: CoD2 with Russia, CoD3 with Canada, UK and Poland, and CoD4 with the Marines and SAS.

I didnt at first, just read it now, it says they are working on a Sci-Fi title and people are assuming its CoD6, you guys know that companies the size of infinity ward produce around 3-4 titles at the same time... so thats a 25% chance this is CoD6 and seeing as how vague "Sci-Fi" is it means nothing.
Um...the only titles that Infinity Ward have developed are Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, and Call of Duty 4...so Kotaku inferring that a "Sci-Fi title" that they're working on is going to be CoD6 is a very rational thought. Doesn't mean it definitely will be, but I'd expect it to be so. Who knows, maybe they'll unwrap a new series...with the work they did with CoD I'd love to see that.Vilham wrote:

Except that BF2142 didn't Epic fail. Infact it was rather popular and still is for that matter. It's also much better than BF2 as it took a lot of things from it and remade them and added even more things to the game.stkhoplite wrote:

Epic fail is like that game from Quake devs that people claimed(I'm sure several of you people thought of it to) would kill both BF2 AND BF2142 but it ended up killing itself. That's an EPIC fail.
Well I really hope they don't do it like Starship troopers as the movie wasn't as awesome as people make it out to be. Not to talk about that I don't want to fight bugs or a big brain.
