Not quite, obviously you can still mod your console.

But doing so restricts you from accessing XBL (for the 360 anyway), and so you don't see the hackers.

In other news, got to the rank where you get a free unlock...this game is remarkably easy. Maybe it's because I've played BF2 and i know how the games generally work.

But going 29-0 with a M24 aint bad.

There's plenty of hackers in the console community. Especially when Halo 2 was huge in the online community...using connection hacks and all sorts of stuff. I used to watch my brother play for a few minutes once in a while and each time I'd catch a hacker. And it wasn't even just Halo 2, now it's a whole bunch of XBL games.

However, Microsoft takes the same approach to hackers as Valve does - zero tolerance. Check this out:
