A preorder? Now? For no benefit and with no explanation?
Gracious, I'm surprised they aren't also taking pre-orders for COD6, 7, and 8 ....

Play.com loves their bullshit preorders. Most of their preorders get their release delayed by ages (5- 6 months+) and some of them cancelled altogether (PS3 gungrey edition with MGS4 I'm looking at you). Also cod5 is gonna suck, not made by IW afaik and is inline with cod3lololmoneymilking
I want that game.some-guy-commenting-on-the-future-link wrote:
I heard a rumor it was originally going to be made by a totally different company. Apparently “not enough time” had gone by between the release of CoD 4 and CoD 5 (a minimum of 3 years is required between each).
According to sources the working title was originally “Tom Clancy’s Wet Dream”. Either way, I’m looking forward to getting my copy.
They had BF3 also if I remember correctly
It's real.
According to Official Xbox Magazine, Call of Duty 5 is now known as Call of Duty: World at War and is in the works at Treyarch Invention, the studio which developed Call of Duty 2: Big Red One and Call of Duty 3. Call of Duty: World at War will take place in the Pacific theatre (and partially in Russia's advance into Berlin). For the first time in Call of Duty's campaign 4-player co-op is supported over Xbox Live - and it supports meta game perks as in CoD4's online mode. Thanks: Voodoo Extreme. Scheduled to hit the store shelves during Activision 2009 fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2009. Call of Duty: World at War will be available for PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and DS, as well as for Wii and PS2.

moh pacific assault or whatever sucked ass, and we all know that treyarch or whomever is just gonna send this genre up the river.
competion won't move on from cod2. if people want modernism in pro comps, they will go cod4, if they want ww2 its cod2.
this franchise needs to have something really REALLY NEW put into it, such as a new genre like desert storm..or something

COD game from Nazi's point of view would be great.
only if you could commit war crimes like the senseless execution of 'the innocent'.AWSMFOX wrote:

I cant imagine it would be very much fun playing the game knowing that your faction eventually gets owned :pAWSMFOX wrote:
