- [PS3] Cumulative PS3 Sales Pass Cumulative Xbox 360 Sales in Europe
So there are now more PS3's in Europe than X360's eh? I hope Sony and game devs take note of this. Cos this whole North American based thinking is so last gen.

Lol, UK are you a fanboy?
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
I swear this is a repost or atleast 15 posts in this topic were deleted.
Damn. Pretty good on Sony's part. I'm really thinking it's mainly because of Blu-Ray though. DVD players are growing obsolete and the PS3 is one of the cheapest Blu-Ray players on the market, plus you get a game console with some excellent titles on it. But that article made me laugh for one reason.
They used the picture of the prototype PS3 controller with the double dildo boomerang look.

The most interesting figure on this for me was that it sold the same amount of consoles in half the time. I really wasn't expecting that.

Yes, but that's because the Wii appeals to almost all ages. Anybody can pick it up and play it.
Especially little kids.

It has games for everyone, and I have yet to meet someone who didn't like the wii.
I'm not saying it's shit (though I personally don't like it all that much) I'm just saying, it appeals to a much wider range of people than the 360 and PS3 do.Miggle wrote:

I think partly the reasoning is that (and I hate to use this word) to bring it up to the PS3 ''spec'', it can end up being more expensive to buy a 360.
In the UK:
£189 for Premium Xbox 360
£30ish a year for live
£60 for a wireless adapter (who the fuck they think there kidding with that I dont know).
Making it exactly the same price as the 40GB PS3, but it doesnt have that blu ray player.
Games, looks, and like like are all subjective, you might love forza but I say Gran Turisimo pisses over it, and likewise HALO3 rapes HAZE. Point being, on a hardware level, there about the same in cost, yet the PS3 offers that blu ray and all those additions in the box, ready to go when you get your machine home. Does make a difference imo.
For the UK atleast my opinion is that the premium 360 needs to take a £50 price cut. I know they already make a loss on the machines but as it is there loosing ground.

Personally, I can't stand the Wii. A friend of mine has one, and every time he shows me new games he's purchased for it my eyes just glaze over and I look for something else to hold my attention. The games are extremely childish and cartoonish. I would rather go out and purchase an old n64 than waste the money on a Wii.Miggle wrote:
