So, I installed Crysis as of today, to re-play the single-player campaign again on my much more powerful 3870 over my 7600GS. It all worked fine, until I wanted to use any kind of scope. Everything is there, except from the crosshair/dot, the sole part that makes it a scope. I've tried with some console command I got from xGj, as well as repair-installing it. I'm doing a full re-install as of now.
Anyone got an idea of what could be causing this?
I'm running a HD3870 under Catalyst 8.4 and Windows XP.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
