I've dug around a bit... and can't find anything definite on COD4 modding.
I found this neat tutorial that goes through all the steps to completely make and customize a new weapon... but he seems to forget the part about implementing it (d'oh!). I can't figure out how to place my new weapon into one of the classes without completely replacing a current weapon. Perhaps it's not possible, I don't know.
Anyone with links/knowledge, please let me know. I made a giant BF2 modding tutorial about 7-8months ago, but the forums ate it when they were set back.
