To be honest Metallica are hardly 'on top' of any scene anymore. The last significant thing they even did was whine like a bunch of little pampered bitches over P2P downloading and a lack of artist royalties; as if they need anymore with hordes of 13 year olds going into Hot Topic to buy Metallica accessories and clothing. This game just sounds like a gimmicky quick-cash deal to me, for both parties involved (game devs and burnt-out-over-the-hill metal band).

Heh, I don't really like any recent Metallica but some of their older songs are awesome. I'd still rather see like a Megadeth or Iron Maiden version but I bet this one will be fun.
