Just sucks that they said we'd get the bundle here and then change their minds

Another review by Meristation.
It received a 10/10. http://www.n4g.com/ps3/NewsCom-151134.a … 1#C1141497
And the review says MGS4 runs at 720p native (rumor though).

Hows the PS3 btw? What shall I get with mine other than MGS4?
i dont think one game out of the Metal Gear series deserves a 10. some aspects of the game are too bland for my tasteicecold2510 wrote:

Is anyone else going to try getting through the game without killing anyone? I mean without using any guns in the game to kill anyone except the bosses.
I want to do it but will probably do try doing it on the second time through.

wearing the stelth camo and dive rolling into the marines and making a chain reaction of them falling over is the funniest thing ever though
I finished exams too. Now time to get a Job. Although I might be going Notts soon. Everybody is just fucking around

To visit sum m8z
I always take the shoot everything that moves approach, wasn't the best for mgs3 when u had to spend ages walking along that river full of ghosts though.SamTheMan:D wrote:

I usually look for the easiest option. If there's only one guard in the area it's easiest to just take him out and run through. If there's loads of guards with a set pattern and shit, and it's hard to shoot and hide bodies, logic says you should just sneak through instead of causing a bother.
Although this game is different, I know that I'm gonna be trying hard not to get seen and then out of nowhere a big battle starts, and then those fucking walking things come and insta kill everything

haha, I used to do the exact same thing.M.O.A.B wrote:

I loved it when you did play it like a stealth person, so I am determined to do that on the new one. You get a sense of achievement when you break a guys neck
Funniest was knocking them down and then aiming quickly in 1st person saying 'Freeze!' then they'd start shaking and give you stuff lol.teek22 wrote:

You can now shoot a nonsilenced gun that will not cause an alert, simply because they hear all sorts of stuff on a battlefield.
But I will probably just use a combination of killing and tranq.
I have all my money for the regular game and my birthday is next Monday so hopefully I can get a few more bucks and get the collectors edition

Indeed, it's this and Bad Company I will be playing this summer. To bad GTA was a bit light on the post completion front :\ Might play it again all way through.henno13 wrote:

I wonder how online will pan out on MGS, it could be great N fact it will since thats what these guys do.

Well I jus read an online review from gamesradar, and as I said, the long cutscenes do hinder the gameplay
The S.America section ends a third of the way through the gameSadly, after South America, the game ceases to flow, and instead becomes a staccato showreel of bite-sized gameplay chunks, glued together by mammoth cut-scenes. The components are impeccable – and the game does return to relatively seamless action – but the disconnection is somewhat jarring. You end up shunted between locations and gameplay styles in a fashion that betrays everything the epic five-minute ladder climb in MGS3 set out to achieve in terms of pacing, continuity and scale.
MGS4, as ever, is mired in huge cut-scenes – you can skip or fast-forward them, but that's missing the point. You want to know what's going on, but don't want to endure clumsy scripting, or needless exposition. MGS4 could be hours shorter, and be considerably better for it. While we adore Kojima's unflinching vision, and attention to detail, if someone had bravely asked him to edit more carefully, we wouldn't be talking about MGS4 as a contentious masterpiece, but the greatest game ever.
The overall view is that it is a great game, but with unnecessary flaws. Got 9/10the story sporadically leaves you reeling, or hanging on every word. The frustration – and it bites harder given the breathless pace of earlier scenes – is that all the brilliant gameplay, plotting, philosophy and detail gets swamped in the 'noise' of unnecessary content.

I just saw a commercial for MGS4 on the Military Channel. It's basically a revamped Courage is Solid trailer but it is still badass since it has that LaFontaine voiceover sound-a-like
Anway,
SIX DAYS I CANNOT WAIT!! I've been waiting 3 years for this. Fuck my 16th birthday! I want MGS4

Sorry for the revive but I just finished the game last night and I have to say it's epic
I wonder if there'll be another one judging by the twist added at the end.
