nice.
Last tech thing I bought was a few weeks ago - iPod Universal Dock
I wish I could buy a new PSU today. My old thing died of overload
I acquired a 17" CRT screen for free today Top-end one from 2002. Just four small scratches, nothing else wrong.
I just wish I had a computer that could perform BF2 in a decent enough FPS to utilize it...

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Sure, send me $950US to cover the cost of the firearm and the shipping and it will be on its way.Little BaBy JESUS wrote:

All stores display them in this fashion - unloaded of course.
Yeah, I sold my springfield 1911 TRP a couple years ago, and there's been a .45ACP void in my heart ever since.Parker wrote:

Yep an older htr-5740 Works pretty good
Rambo 4 just came out on dvd. You should watch it on your new tv, if you haven't already seen it.
I did see Rambo 4. It was pretty good. Not sure I am going to get that. I am going to wait for my cables to show up first before I get some good movie time. Damn PS3 wont upconvert DVD's to 1080 with component cables.
I bought HDMI cable with my PS3. I wouldn't even connect my precious PS3 with a component cable.Scratch[USA] wrote:

Rofl at the dog in that picture.
Just a Temporary solution. GTa4 at 480i on a 42 inch screen is horrible..Sup wrote:

How much did you pay for your HDMI cable. If you do not mind me asking.
My dog wanted to say hello to BF2s

I think it was around 40€ (2m length) It was one of the better quality cables. You can get them a lot cheaper ofc.Scratch[USA] wrote:

I spent about 18.00 dollars for 2m. I will see when it gets here if it is worth anything.
I was not going to spend 100 at the blue box store (Best Buy) before I tried this first.

You will be amazed by the quality HDMI can provide but better cables is always good, the biggest difference in noticable when you are listening to music.Scratch[USA] wrote:

I'm pretty sure that all HDMI cables are the same. I paid around £20 for mine. You can find cheaper once. Hell, I found one for £2
Probably. But what I understand, because HDMI carries a digital signal, you won't lose quality. But, if you use components or composite, they are both carry analogue signal, so cheaper once tend to suck..Sup wrote:
No, not all are the same. Thicker cables are better.r'Eeee wrote:

Thats relative. True good HDMI cables wont loose any quality while poor cables might will loose some. If you get a 2000€/$ entertainment setup, don't be stingy when it comes to 30€ cables.r'Eeee wrote:

Cables much like skulls/cranium = the thicker the better. Greater protection of signal quality/ neurological signals( brain activity ).Sup wrote:

you got a dog with your TV? The only thing mine came with was a power cable
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Shit yeah. Took my dog out and the UPS man was at my front door with my cables. So far so good with the 18.00 dollar HDMI. Sounds the same, but with 1080p. I have an extra toslink to run through the reciever
They stole the idea from RCA.
