What are your buying habits when it comes to Blu-Ray?

It has not been until recently that I have had the means to properly watch a  Blu-Ray disk at home. In fact I have never (knowingly) seen Blu-Ray content.

I'm sitting here at my desk with a stack of Blu-Ray disks a coworker has lent me and I'm wondering, "Will I like them so much I'll turn over my whole collection to Blu-Ray discs"? I really hate the fact that they try and charge %50 more for a Blu-Ray movie.

So at this point and time what are your buying habits when it comes to the movies you buy and Blu-Ray?

I was renting BluRay movies till I was working late and my wife had to put a movie in the PS3 for the kids. Needless to say, I will only be renting/ purchasing standard DVD's for her now.

Not worth the upgrade IMO. It's not like the big leap in tech like VHS->DVD was.

I'd have to agree, I was watching pearl harbour on blu ray and dont get me wrong it looked stunning.  But no more so than Casino Royale on DVD did (I'd have to stare REEEEEEEEALLY hard to see a difference tbh).

No I've spent too much on DVD's to make the change. It's stupid really, it wasn't even that long ago that DVD came out.

Plus I don't have a PS3 and don't want to buy a standalone blu ray player.
