Scanner fails at picking up detail.If that picture was your way of disagreeing with me.... it didn't work. The proportions are off and shapes are generic and plain. Really, just use reference, even if you have to trace the first few times, and see the difference in your work. Your getting better and better MOAB. I feel like creating a new game character for a nextgen engine (Unreal Engine 3), for practice purposes.
However I dont have any good concept art to base it off.
I sort of want a futuristic/tech looking soldier - crysis style (but please not a nano suit lol ). The weapon(s) you are free to design as well (if you chose to help out with some concept art
He isnt supposed to be special forces or anything, just a regular marine.
I can give you some idea of what I was thinking about when it comes to weapons (dont worry its only a few hours along):
Big chuncky .50 cal assault rifle thingy.
It will be pretty highly detailed, sort of like this:
So dont hold back on the details and equipment
The rex was just an example of detail, I do humans too of course (but I need practice - hence the request )
oh yea, you dont have to show the whole face if it is covered by a mask or cloth of some kind..
