I ordered one + mobo & GPU, but it was allready taking 3 weeks for the mobo to arrive and not even a word yet about the CPU and GPU and then the 9600GT which kicks the shit out of the HD3870 which I ordered so I decided to cancel it all..Sup wrote:

I'm considering buying this game for a play through; I actually have it on my Xbox360 but have generally become completely disinterested in that console altogether. Playing everything on PC nowadays!
Question: How does the game 'perform' and 'feel' with a Mouse/Keyboard input? I don't have my old USB controller anymore - after trading it in for a BF2 joystick - I'm looking at just playing the game with the standard peripherals. Does it work as well? I guess that's an advantage my Xbox360 has that I'll be substituting in favour of better graphics .

Does this really NEED a dual core to play?
Yep.coke wrote:

You have no idea how detailed this game is (and how huge).
I still wanna know how the control scheme works for a keyboard, it's complicated enough with my controller!
and it still looks hotter on the 360
Small hourglass island

Controls are nice and simple and work pretty well on the PC.
Mouse1 is attack
Space is jump
Shift is gently push
E is look around
Mouse2 is high profile mode
F is lock on
Q is quick chase cam
Number keys are used to select your weapons so 3 for the hidden blade.

Oh, that's not bad at all tbh.Fat_Swinub wrote:

Are there any Über mods for it?
No there aren't. It seems to use some arbitrary system where everything is contained in these .forge files. There's no SDK or mod creation environment. I haven't heard of the scimitar engine being used in any other game either. I can't even find a way to enable a developer console. Everything seems as locked off as possible. Judging by the effort they put into porting it (shown by their laziness of locking the game at 16:9) I doubt there will be any mods.
I'll pick this game up when it drops in price...after I get a new computer.

"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
So, I just finished this.
First off: HOLY FUCKING CLIFFHANGER BATMAN, why don't you just tell us there's going to be a sequel outright? The ending doesn't even conclude the past properly, quite disappointing to be honest. I did enjoy it though

There's a tweakguide for this if anyone's interested.

Getting away was another story though..
I died once, and when I respawned in that courtyard thing, it was literally packed full with soldiers. D:
..Let me know if you need help later though.

example in combat mouse2 = defend, then when an enemy attacks mouse1 + (still mouse2 pressed) counter.
but mouse2 is also sprint,
mouse2 + space = running
W, A, S, D, forward, left etc...

Good game overall though, I enjoyed it enough to finish it in 2 days and fill out all the DNA things (cept the additional memories one).
You can remap them if you want but believe me, it works well. If you have a wired 360 controller spare you can plug that in too and it'll map the buttons automatically.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

I LOVE the ending to this game, went da vinci code on it's ass and researched up what the clues point to in the next games.
I guess I did always know that it was part of a trilogy though, so was just happy that the altair storyline got tied off.

Especially when the move kills the opponent.
