Hopefully this will work itself out in the long run, as a lot of "niche" markets, hard-core realistic tactical FPS games for example, are being completely ignored at the moment. Sad fact is that it takes the same money/resources to develop a game like RSV2 as it would to make a modernized RS2. With studio space/human resources/time being limited, it means that the less profitable games (for a narrower audience) simply don't get made. Why would Ubisoft/Red Storm invest $10 million for a game that would sell 500,000 copies (mildly profitable), when it could make a slightly different game and sell 3 million copies (wildly profitable) for the same investment?
It is fortunate that Assassin's Creed did so well, proving to a giant like Ubisoft that innovation in design really can be profitable.
I'll keep expanding my studio though, one day all profitable games, regardless of margin, will get made
a lot of things, and its just my personal preference and i can easily see why people would like it, i just really don't. I not going to say it's terrible as it is not fact, it is just my opinion.krazed wrote:

i like it, enough improvements over the first one to make it a solid buy for me... but then i like it for the coop more then the player vs player but that's probably just me
a few of the things i don't like:
sniping is so easy (popping out of cover and shooting someone in the face within about a second)
all guns feel the same to me, i like variety etc
guns seem very inconsistent. (3 shot kill one time, 7 shot kill next (on people with same amount of armor))
the fact you can see behind you whilst in cover seem so ridiculous to me
levels are too small
constant respawning in the same place
invincibility for first few seconds (you get raped if you happen to stumble by where they spawn)
but anyways, what do you guys like/dislike about the game and how does it compare to the first?
If you dont have someone to play coop with it aint great. But ive gone through the game coop with my bro and done all the t hunts with him which was well fun.

Terrorist hunt can be fun, especially if you play with more than one person, but i mainly got it for online. If i wanted a good plot and storymode for an FPS i could get that easily and it would be better than this one, although the storymode isnt bad to be fair to it.
