short. i got vegas 6.0 and i mostly render my videos(fraps) to *.wmv whatever (5mbs / 3mbs) but it never looks like the really good quality vids shown by some clans out there...

any hints to improve my renderskills??

Get something that isn't Sony Vegas. FCP is the best. Premiere isn't bad.

Also avi wrappers are much better than wmv ones.

Yup. DivX will make a 800 vs 600 movie with sound (4 minutes long) in 50-100 megs @ 30 FPS.

theres no option in vegas 6.0 calles divx.... where can i add it? 10 mins google wont work

You need the divx codec on your computer to render using it. So you render the movie as an .avi file and then you use another program to actually compress it using divx.

I use dr.divx, you get it when you download the divx codec and player pack thing they have on their site.
