i got MGS:PO on PSP a few weeks ago and i started to think about MGS3
im thinking of geting the special edition (£10 online) but it hit one snag:

i rented the oringal twice but i didnt complete the whole game (got up to after the part where he got his eye buldged out)
so i was wondering,
does the special edition read the original version's save file or do i have to play through the whole damn thing again
also

is Subestience worth getting?

i do understand if most of you guys have moved on to the PS3 or 360 but i havent
just yet

MGS3: S is worth getting for the new camera and thats it.

Theres no online because they shut down the servers last year...

I do not know if it reads SE's saves though...

Edit: If the special edition includes Snake Eater and not Subsistence, then yes, it will read your original saves.

Again, I do not think Subsistence registers Snake Eaters save, I may be wrong though....

But then again, does it hurt to play through a MGS a second time? lol

nah maybe not
but all those bosses took for ever tho

I've played through mgs subsistence multiple times and i loved it, the online was awesome and its a damn shame they shut them down
