DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AN ILLEGAL DOWNLOAD JUST BECAUSE IT'S BI! <-The fuck happened there? *Stares at wireless shitboard*
So, you find some cool, large thing you wanna download (Like a mod, a Linux distro, etc), but it goes painstakingly slow. At what speed do you give up on a large download and simply don't get what you wanted (No other sources available, etc)?
I usually give up if it's under 20kB/s for a long time and not showing any sign of improvement.
EDIT: WTF double post?! -1 replies? The fuck?! I can't access it to delete it, sorry, I think I broke BF2s...

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
