My school had it's annual blood drive, and I donated blood today. And I thought, who else has?

I used to donate blood frequently. Until one time I donated blood about 2 weeks before I came down with mono. I didn't know I was sick at the time. About a month later, I received a letter from the Red Cross telling me that my blood had signs of a liver inflammatory agent (or something like that) and that they think it may be hepatitis B. So, I went to my doctor, and it turned out that I did not have hepatitis B and that they had probably detected the mono (or its effects).
So, I was told that I was no longer a suitable blood donor. About a year after that, I received another letter telling me that I could donate blood if I wanted, but that it would be subject to extra scrutiny. Whatever. I don't bother anymore.

I donated blood my senior year of high school, and right after that, like a dumbass, i went to track practice.

No. When I handed them the mostly full Mt. Dew bottle they got all uppity. They seem to be pretty strict with their stupid rules.
