It is pretty fun, but you may be disappointed in the game graphics and mechanics in comparison to BF2.
I know i played it before, When i borrowed it from my cousin. But i really wanna get it for forgotten honor. But i just dont know if it's worth the trip to best buy tomorrow.Superior Mind wrote:

It's forgotten hope. It is amazing. The only thing is that there aren't that many servers running the mod anymore.

I currently play BF1942 more often than BF2. Frequent vanilla servers (Platt's House and BIH.net) as 'Oh, Boy! Oberto(USA).'
You can get this from Amazon. It includes the expansions and Battlefield Vietnam to top it all off.David.P wrote:

Battlefield 1942 servers are friendlier and more varied. Battlefield 2 is mostly stuck in the Karkand/Jalalabad/Wake rut.cablecopulate wrote:

YESYESYES! Play the original and enjoy it for what it is for a couple of days. Then download the Forgotten Hope mod and be blown away by how incredibly awsome it is! I still choose to play FH for BF1942 over vanilla BF2. Really, BF1942 is an amazing game for how old it is. It was the first FPS to include both vehicles and infantry combat at the same time.
