New races ftw. I'm just starting to get better with Tau and Orcs (I only play Necron otherwise).
But online Im no match to anyone. Now I'm playing with the Dawn of Skirmish mod, makes it a lot better imo.

XV88's. Epic mobile base defense win. But then again. Space Marines orbital drop ability is major Epic win.

Doubt I'll get it. There's more than enough content in the Platinum edition to keep me happy, although I'm still pissed I can't connect to FFLink in a game, when we should otherwise.
Crisis Suits are my favorite, with a couple Hammerhead gunships to support each other. Pairing those up with as many Fire Team squads as possible kills anything before it's in range to do melee damage.

I have about 10 Firewarrior squads, one being the Elite's and all the vehicle slots fill with Knarlocs etc. and Skyrays.
If a Monolith teleported infront of me, that thing would be seeing Blue for days.

As expected, Gamestop's online March 4th date is actually the 5th, according to their stores, and the 6th or 7th, according to my experience with the company.

Picked it up today (amazingly on the fifth 5th, at two copies left). Played a bit of Tau (smashed the ork stronghold with some effort after triggering three sub-bases) and a couple rounds of Sisters of Battle. SoB and Dark Eldar are both decently merged into overall game balance, and it's a worthwhile edition, provided more people buy it. Animations, voice and music are as fun as ever. In the Space Marine guy's defense, I believe he's supposed to sound like an arrogant prat.

Anybody expecting conversations between enemy commanders during stronghold fights like in DC might be disappointed. So far, the ork one I tried with the Tau was pretty silent, with Gorgutz only yelling at his own guys.

By the way, Soulstorm has just overcome TF2 and Maple Story (blech) to reach #2 on the Top 10 message boards on GameFAQs. Can it end WoW's reign over the #1 spot? Only time will tell.

Campaign load times are ridiculous. Takes 1-2 mins. after every battle to get back to the galaxy map.
Dark Crusade ran fine with high poly/textures though >_>
