That's because all the old-school Beta players think it's acceptable and funny to create alternate 'smurf' accounts, and pose as noobs in order to get matches against inexperienced players. Normally the convention is that people with fresh stats or very new accounts are kicked, simply under suspicion that they are in fact pro's . It's a shame if you are actually a genuine newcomer to the game, haha!

That explanation doesn't exactly work when you attempt to join a game full of high-rankers or a mere comp-stomp. I'm not technically a newcomer to the game (played off and on since it was first released), but I am more inclined to coop, and made a different account when I got OO.

Beyond that, the logic is mind-boggling. If a player's a noob, have fun stomping him. If he's a pro, well, why wouldn't you want to learn from a pro?
