So, looking for something different, I bought ET:QW. Unfortunately, my DVD drive [Lite On LH-20A1H] wont recognise it at all. the firmware is up to date, as is my bios. It's also the only drive I have.

Anyone got any helpful tips? As right now, I'm stuck with an expensive coaster.

Is the disc clean?
When you try to go in to you're disc drive does it say its empty or can you see the files?

Yeah, the disc is spotless, and I can't even see the files on it, it won't read at all.

Personally I would test it on another PC with a different drive and if the same problem persists take it back and get them to replace it with another copy.
Make sure you let them know you're PC is to spec and that you believe the disc is faulty otherwise they wont replace it.

Well, I finally got a new disc, and this one works fine. Wonder what was up with teh first one. Anyway, Cheers xRBLx for taking the time.
