Ahhhh! I got the e-mail just now and came to check on the thread. Holy shit that's a high score! Does Ironmode improve the score at all? I guess I'll have to try that. Maybe I shouldn't have given away my tips just yet
I think Ironmode does help. I'm now second highest... IN DA WURLD!! Good luck reclaiming your throne. And yes, your tips helped (my previous high score prior to reading your tips was <40,000. Have a karma for helping.
Iron mode definitely helped, I noticed a lot more reds and yellows. And after many times accidentally overfilling, and several rounds of frustration, here we are

Gah, I go to school for one day and my score has been thoroughly trounced. I love how BF2s holds 3 of the top 5 positions in casual mode for this song. Expect me to use hax to beat you all by the end of the night .

EDIT: Ugh I really hate this game. It's so inconsistent! I'll play the song once and get a certain score, then do the exact same thing again and sometimes it'll be a little bit higher, or a little bit lower. And now I'm playing it again and only hitting 70k's even though I'm doing the exact same thing I did to get the 80k.

This is ridiculously frustrating. I hit every single tile in the entire song and still my scores are inconsistent at the end of each round. I guess AS has a certain amount of luck to it.
Are you guys missing some on purpose just to build a bigger combo? I wish AS would tell you the exact formula for the scoring system, so you can know whether it's worth it to miss a tile just to build a slightly bigger combo.
