Buy it as a disk. The download won't work all the time, and if you change computers more than twice, you have to buy it again.

It's just a mod for BF2. There'll be a shortcut for regular BF2 and a shortcut for SF. So yes, you can still play them.

Yes. yes it is. It's a bunch of varied maps, a severe shakeup to gameplay, a few nice toys, new weapons, new models, and you get unlocks just for finishing a single round.
Not many servers up these days, but it's still a blast. Less nadespam, sniper nubs, medic whores, and planewhoring.

I just got SF and installed it and it says that I need to "sync" my shaders? Any help on figuring out what I need to do would be great????

Try repatching it again download the full 1.41 should do it or if that does´nt help you reinstall BF2 > SF > Patch 1.41. Had to do the later myself.

I also kept getting the message "Patching Failed" during the installation of SF when it tries to patch 1.10 or something just ignore that and patch the full afterwards.

I think if you buy the game new, the patch is a much newer one than 1.10, so that won't show up, i think.

It may already have the latest 1.41 patch, but you may want to make sure.

The only bad thing is, is the SF isn't what it used to be, alot less players anymore, there are some, but usually the damn good BF2 players are all over SF, so, in a way, it can be alot harder than regular BF2 maps, not always, but alot of the time.
