well in a shot while my computer needs some new tech.

my comuter now.

3.0ghz  pentium 4

512 mb ram

5200 geforce

i know the things in the bottom sucks so much.

my computer in short while

3.0ghz pentium 4

512 ram + 1 gb maybe 2. should i take kingston or corsair. corsair is more expensive but is it better.

6800 geforce of some kind. how is the performance after this.

Personally, getting the extra ram, 2GB is the minimum for BF2 IMHO, and the new video card, a 6800GT IMHO, you should do quite well...

Opps, forgot about either Kingston or Corsair... I have Corsair so I guess I am a bit bias towards them...

Don't worry about which memory provider...those are both fine. 

If you were going for an uber PC, then I'd pay more attention to fast RAM with matched sets, etc.

I'd remove your old RAM and go for two nice 1 GB sticks of the same ram.  You'll see a huge performance gain on everything from that alone.

Then I'd also second the recommendation for a 6800 GT card. 

All other tech updates will really only contribute minor things.  Most new tech today is gonna require you shift to a new motherboard platform, new memory, new PCI-E video cards, better powersupply,e tc.

So do the above two things and you should be able to stretch another year outta it at least.
