Having pretty much conquered HTML, I look to my next launguage....

PHP

I'm just starting out, reading tuts, asking questions and working with basic things like functions, variables, rand, etc. and was just looking for any experienced minds out there looking to impart your knowledge.

Where to start, any basic source code, tips, overall rules. Any knowledge or links you can provide to help me on my quest to conquering PHP would be greatly appreciated and karma rewarded (OMG karma, i know).

Not the best place to start but a good resource is their function manual:

Apparently they have a tut, http://au2.php.net/tut.php.

Another thing you may like to do is install a web server on your computer (can be turned off), to save FTPing to a server every time you add a semicolon. I use XAMPP now (lots of variants but get X).

This is a pretty good book on the subject. It's easy to get lost or lose motivation if all you're going by when learning new languages are tutorials, so I'd recommend that you get the book first.
