IMO there were too many 3rd party players if I can say that that didnt even have a clue of what is going on and what will be demanded from them. I dont really care if I will be on the list or not if I see there very tight and strong bf2s team. We gotta kick their asses in a name of glory of BF2s ( as I heard some trackr will come in instead...)

Hmmm, the system seemed a bit crappy to me....
The guys who were quickest to PM Varegg, got SL and picked their friends....
A lot of good duys are missing out, and a lot of dedicated BF2s community gamers.
I'm only in because I'm in the chopper, doubt I'd be in otherwise.

I has, I'm in Mints squad. The problem however, is I dinna have a clue who the others in the squad are lol.

Crappy or not, the fact is we can't house everybody in a team of 32 players so both known and unknown players is bound to be disappointed.
I only got PMs from 5 squad leaders and after having waited two days i picked those 5, it would all have been a tad different if we as a EU server community where to host it and challenged another community - we could then have picked and invited as we pleased within the comforts of the game admin section.
But how this all played out with the initial sign-up thread from Hakei i had no choice but to use the same kind of method.
But what the hey - we can still challenge someone else on the basis of the EU regulars after this event is done, it's not like this is the last event ever ?
With the interest we have on this forum for these kind of events i suggest we do them more often so that a larger majority can participate - we don't have to wait to be challenged, we can do the same
