Awful, a good concept, but a really poor game.
My opinion of it anyway.
I'm sure there's a niche out there for people who like that sort of thing; online commerce, customisation/coding abilities, lots of small perverse groups of wacko's (e.g. furries) etc.

Below awful.
However, I think that there are some fringe groups of people who might find it cultishly entertaining. I toured the place for 3-4 hours and encountered some interesting displays, but really the whole experience was not worth the effort.

Only good for people with a lot of time or Asbergers Syndrome.

I watched a TV program about two people who fell in love on that game.
Fucking weirdos. The girl was like. As soon as i saw him, I knew he was the one. (Speaking about the first time she saw his character on the game!)
They were freaks.

it costs money to be able to do anything
I won't get anywhere near that piece of trash...
but the concept is damn brilliant. Feed off the population of poor shmucks who have an addiction to using real money to purchase a virtual sofa, wish I thought of it.

I thought about making a character just to see what I was missing I think it's free to play around, but if you wanna buy anything in the game you have to pay per month. Unless I read it wrong..
Definitely not true, you can make your own objects and scripts. It just costs shavings off cash to upload files here and there. I designed the t shirt below in gimp and uploaded it for 10 L$, 1000 L$ being about 4 dollars, which I borrowed from someone in my military group. There's also many freebies in the game (such as my cube, that I decided to wear on my back, custom sounds included ) and opportunities to just make money. Sure it's kind of bad to think of it as taking other peoples' money, but if they spend actual money to get the in-game currency, that's their problem. In the first few days I didn't know why I wouldn't stop playing it but after wandering around I was offered into an awesome group. One person's a scripter and the other makes the models. They're amazing, making planes and whatnot within minutes, and they've made impressive firearms. I've personally seen nothing like this, it's almost truly possible to do anything. I made my own lip ring, earring, studded belt and bracelets in game in relatively short amounts of time. And that's what it's about, not ripping off other people of their money for virtual goods. Sure it tends to use a lot of resources for not the greatest graphics, but the guts of the game are incredible, it can handle extremely high numbers of prims and custom objects/textures/animations.bennisboy wrote:

I might as well have wrote a damn poem or essay about that...I guess I'm a little keyboard-happy today.
Edit: It's not THAT shitty, the image is sized down. As always zoom in for the full picture.

Wierd, I was just reading about how most of the people on there steal textures from other games/people and sell them.
Why on earth would revive a thread about a shitty "game" played by social outcasts?
Yeah, they do. Just the other day I saw someone with a texture from the source engine. I'm against that kind of stuff though.iNeedUrFace4Soup wrote:

Why on earth would I? Because I felt like sharing my opinion on it, and you're right. Social outcasts do play it. So do lots of other people like me who have lives and enjoy it in their free time, instead of reading forum posts only to flame other users.DefCon-17 wrote:

I fail to see how that is a flame.Noobpatty wrote:

..and even so, watching people get offended over the net is a whole lot more entertaining, to be honest.

Your post appears to show your intense preoccupation with a narrow subject. I think you may have Assburgers Symdrone.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
