Well, i got a lot of my brothers old games bc he was selling his ps2 and i was going thru them when i opened one 4 disks fell out. I was literally shocked to see that they were The Legend of the Dragoon. This game is simply amazing. imo, better than Final Fantasy. I have played it non-stop bc i have never beat it bc i lost my original copy. It's a simple turn based but still incredibly bad ass. Any of you guys ever played it?
if you havent i definatly recommend it, 10/10.

yes my friend says his first game he ever had was legend of dragoon and its was....."unbelieve" he says. i am not sure i am not into rpgs....unless its an rocket propelled grenade.

I remember playing LotD for the PS1 before I had ever played FF. It did kick ass. I never got to finish it though because it was a rental. *looks for PS1 emulator*

I'm not a fan of RPGs at all, yet LoD is one of the most awesome RPGs I've ever played! I don't know if it's better than FF, though; I wasn't able to finish it all, got through like half of it. The battle system is really cool, and that's what I enjoy the most of the 2 or 3 RPGs I've ever played.

Anyone who likes RPGs needs to check this out, and even people who aren't into them should at least give it a shot like I did.

7 is untouchable bc Cloud was bad ass.

8 blew 7 away the music was way better. The storyline was better imo. 7 was just oh save the earth then Aries died now get revenge. Don't get me wrong 7 wasn't a bad game but 8 just blew it out of the water. Final Fantasy VIII and Legend Of Legaia are the best Rpg's imo. They really remind me of my childhood.

If I remember correctly Dragoon had a god awful fighting system that bored the piss outta me, but that's just one man's opinion.

No one ever gives Xenogears the credit it deserves.

I remember I had the demo of this game.

Loved it, must of played the same thing through over and over for about 10 hours and still didn't get boring.
