Its quite different, the graphics are superb (as are any other decent next-gen game), 8 player free-roam (or freeburn) around the ENTIRE city, loads of carnage ... free-roaming singleplayer mode... its quite different to the others, so this is an interesting path to go down for Criterion{M5}Sniper3 wrote:

I've had it since the day before it came out . I won it in an EAUK comp. For teh 360. No Live just now though, but I can still get online road rules thingies updated all the time.
40 hours singleplayer so far . I just got a $35 million showtime (it took bloody ages). Only 3 more showtimes to go before i've got them all. Already got all the times.
Far better than the previous 2 fairly craptastic Burnouts (3+4). Well they were quite good I guess. Just nothing to the awsm Burnout 2. They had far too much gimmicky crap all over them and were far too blurry (I do have real complaints, i just couldnt be bothered just now).
As far as i'm concerned, Paradise is Burnout 2 2 . The abundance of Burnout 2 music + cars just reinforces the awesome.

I've been thinking about getting it. I played the demo and it was awsm sauce. I wanna get it, but I want to save for RSV 2 when it comes out, because a few of my friends are gunna be getting it.

why show me how i crashed again and again and again and again, and then some more.... oh the car is still sliding hold please
why do you need to show me in detail how i knocked someone off the road? just so your auto driving shit can stick me going straight into a wall, or down a a road i didn't want to be on?

although you can't get as many takedowns at once like previous burnouts (revenge) like 5 at once
you could get 1 car, then 2 crash into that, or you get hit, but someone crashes into you, I loved that...
BTW: get the kruiger (i think, its the SUV at the beginning, has full strengh. Haven't swiched cars yet)

I just got it for the PS3. Fucking awesome game. I lol'd when that damn Avril Song came on too, but I love the main tune by Guns n Roses.
I've only just unlocked the first few cars. I managed to take down that Japanese car and the Big Pink Long American one (damn they could've used real cars, but oh well)
I'll probably recognise the proper sports cars more, but that's a long way to go

I was chasing that damn first japanese car for ages though, but when you finally get the takedown and unlock the car. It's so sweet. Oh yeah and "Road Rage" is so easy, I was set a target of 3/4 and I usually get around 15 before I get bored and crash myself out of the race to end it early.

Although I do think they've ripped off Midnight Club a fair bit. Who cares though it's burnout and it's awesome.

I got so bored of this game so quickly. I have no idea why because it's a great game. Got to my A license. CoD4 for me thanks.
