I'm looking for a game similar to Ace Combat, but for the PC.
Any suggestions?

That looks cool, they even have a new game out on the site. Flaming war or something. Too bad the graphics are not that good.Trigger_Happy_92 wrote:

Lock On: Modern Air Combat (click the screenie)
far too confusing a game for someone who wants an ace combat style game.Trigger_Happy_92 wrote:

Clearly the person who recommended Lock On hasn't played Ace-Combat, or Lock On...
I remember asking the same question awhile back. To be blunt, there really isn't many fun flying games out there. By fun I mean arcade/pick up and play style games. They're all hardcore sims.
That implies you can figure out how to get the plane to fly straight for more than 10 seconds. I love flight sims, especially when they're more sim than arcade, but Lock On just left me in the dark. The best game I played was Jane's F/A-18.nukchebi0 wrote:
Lock-On has the mission editor, though. You can't argue with being able to carpet bomb T-80's in Sevastopol. You just can't.
I did it the first time I flew. You can always turn on easy flight so you never crash.Major.League.Infidel wrote:
