The idea behind badges, at bf2s, was that it made you part of an invite only group. That functionality will exist in trackr by default thanks to groups. This information isn't shown in user areas on the forums like it is here yet, but it's going to take some time to re-evolve the forums.

This is actually a point that will need to be touched on -- the forums are going to be ... disappointing ... compared to here. For starters, Drupal's built in forum solution is pretty mediocre. I've managed to spiff it up a bit, but not just to get it functionally right. Combine that fact with the other fact that I have hacked the living daylights out of Pun for this site, and there's a noticeable gap.

So far it hasn't made anyone in the dev site cry streams of blood, but it will be a shift.

Actually, OH hasn't noticed yet, but the blocking feature was removed. We've never really needed it too badly here and I don't see a reason to introduce it.

Good choice there. It shouldn't be so hard to ignore a user without this kind of feature.

i wouldn't mind seeing them either tbh.  It would be nice to know. Do it as a bf2s good bye gift to the users

A move to a new site would actually be nice.  I call username "CanadianLoser" btw.  When i first came here i was 14 or something and really immature and noobish.  I've matured since then and a move to a new site will help forget those noobish times.

also, i vote the Junk Drawer be opened on the new site.  It will help ease the transition, i promise
