Updated the post with the addition of Fortress Forever.
I'm going to agree that you should add Dystopia to the list of mods, it's a great game that I don't play often enough.
EE (hats
Downloading Insurgency. Does anyone still play it?
- Addition of Dystopia (23 Jan 08 apologies for the lateness)
- Refreshed all Valve store prices (23 Jan 08 no changes)
- Fixed tables slightly (23 Jan 08 made them un-noticeably nicer)
If anyone can find the dates for when Dystopia or SMOD Tactical were released I'd be most grateful...thanks!

Dystopia:
"Its first playable build was released on September 9, 2005, after a year of planning and nine months of development. The first full version was released on February 24, 2007. A version 1.1 was released on March 17th 2007."
As for SMOD tactical according to FPSbanana it was released in August 2006.

Thanks Fat_Swinub!
The original SMOD was made way before September 2006. I remember reading about it in November 2005. It was well into development by then though, version 32 I think. I don't think anyone except the creators know the original release date.

The original release date is the day where the MOD is made available for the public (oftenly in version 1.0), and NOT they day the dev's start making it !Fat_Swinub wrote:

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
That's what I mean. It obviously started at version 1 but wasn't really discovered until much later when it had over 30 revisions.
I have downloaded some Half-Life 2 mods and will give them a go later today to see if they are worthy of "Honorable Mods"
Just updated a few niggly things that I've been meaning to do for a while.
- Updated Half-Life 2 price (previously $29.95 - now $19.95)
- Updated Half-Life 2: Episode One price (previously $19.95 - now $9.95)
- Added 'Rock 24' into Honorable Mod Mentions
- Relocated all mod sites to the Valve Developer Community site, and not to the mod's home site. (bar SMOD Tactical)

Don't forget Hostile Intent Phoenix Rising, which is still under development for some reason.

I read about that today on Kotaku and watched the teaser/read the moddb page. But no i've not played it. Sounds like a pretty fun premise.
Black mesa has been released as early access on steam for $20.Miggle wrote:

It still doesn't have the Xen levels but it is on the latest version of source and has steam workshop support.
Highly recommend.
