IMO, trucks excel off roading, and that's where I think they should stay; in other words, low-riding sport trucks hold no interest for me. I voted "Don't Like Trucks" simply because I really am a car person, but if I absolutely had to choose a truck, I'd go with a Toyota Tacoma with the off road package. Sorry, not a big fan of Chevy, Ford, or Dodge.
Your titled to your own opinion, I personally dont like vehicles imported, like Toyota finally got the motor trend truck of the year but it took them a year and chevy got it first

I like real trucks, not those lowered POS take all the point out of owning a truck things. If you want a muscle car buy a muscle car. I would love to see one of those guys a) take that truck off road or b) try to haul something in the bed of that truck. Then I would laugh when it breaks and say "Should've bought a real truck!"
That 427 concept looks and sounds bad-ass. I'd take it any day, BUT I agree with Christian here. I love trucks for their main purpose, and thats mud-bogging off road and dirty work. Currently I have a 87 chevy truck dropped with 22's with a 327 engine :S
I used to test drive the SRT10 before it went into production. It was a kickass truck, but I chose testing the viper over it whenever it was available because there is no comparison, lol. That SRT10 had awesome acceleration for a truck, and the ABS made it stop on a dime. Though I recall having issues with the manual transmission(probably resolved by now I would hope).
Getting paid $70,000 a year to drive circles around a test track and go off-roading right out of high school = win.
Losing the job over disputes between UAW and Diamler-Chrysler management = PWNT
