I remember when GTA: San Andreas was about to come out...the amount that I'm pumped up for GTA IV surpasses how much I was for GTA: SA tenfold.

Some of the new stuff:
- You can climb telephone poles, fire escapes and many other things.
- All cars have GPS, with the nicer ones have voice GPS and each street has a name.
- It takes more than an hour and a half to get from one side of the city to another, even via Helicopter.
- To break into a car you must first smash the window with your elbow, then hotwire the car.
- You need to keep in touch with friends and take them out places (billiards, bars, bowling, etc) and the bowling and billiards (and others) are both mini-games you can play.
- The radio is in real time and 1) you can take the radio with your on your mobile phone although the quality will be weak 2) will have real time news updates of what you do and what happens in Liberty City
- When you go out to bars and drink too much, your vision will become distorted and you will barely be able to drive.
- One mission requires you to call 911 via your own cell phone (in game cell phone, not real...although that'd be badass).
- Police cars have databases that Niko (main character) can tap into.
