Does anyone still play AOE II: Conquerers? Online? VPN?

I tried to play it online the other day, and I couldn't figure out how to do it! Did they change The Zone?

I wanted to play with my brother in FL, and we tried to use Hamachi to set up a VPN and we couldn't get it to work. Does anyone know a trick for that?

I play it over hamachi, but is a little while ago already.
Don't really remember how to get it working.

it runs over gamespy arcade and u can play via ip there. theres also some other sites i think gamepark.de or something...

zone was taken offline over a year ago

google age of empires port forwarding if u want the ports
