Personally I have nothing against the game. I do agree with you about the whole marines thing and CoD4 (even though i dont play it). But this one time this guy told me he played guitar, and i was like oh really? He told me he played guitar hero and it was close enough. Yeah dude that kid has a shit load of GH2 and GH3 videos on youtube and he's like supposively one of the best players out there.

My problem with the vid is the finger tapping he does at the start. Whilst finger tapping works in real life i don't recall you being able to do that in GH (unless i''ve completely missed this feature). For those that don't know, when i say finger tapping i am referring to him playing the notes and not strumming.
The whole video looked dubious to me tbh but then hey, i suck hard at the game, so what the hell do i know.
