i didn't feel like thinking about "other" although there are better actors (not many) than tom hanks.
Forrest Gump is a beautiful movie. Possibly the best acting job by an american actor that I've ever seen.

he is a different person every time, you’ll barley be able to recognize him.
Same with Sarsgard " K19 '" Jar Head " Slaton Sea"
These actors don’t bring their persona with them. Like Cruise does. They build each character from scratch.
I think Christian Bale is actually a pretty good actor now. Watched a few of his films.
