I loved WoW when I played it.
PvP was fucking great solo and with friends (RL)!

It took far too much time though, so I decided to quit it.

I think most people hate WoW simply because they've read and heard other people bitching about it, and enjoy hopping on the "Fuck WoW!" bandwagon, in the exact same way that kids always like to hate the 'in thing' and act cool about it. Warcraft on your BF2S you say?!? Oh noes, Warcraft is about a million times bigger than BF2s- what are the chances of WoW players cropping up in a gaming community. Oh em gee!

I haven't touched the game in a long time myself, but I'll never turn around and say it was "terrible" or "boring", or anything stupid like that. It was my choice to spend so much time playing it - and for the most part - I enjoyed it. I hated MMORPG's, but after slowly seeing just about every FPS player I knew turn to playing the game 6 hours a day, I gave in and tried it to see what all the fuss was about. NOTE: I "gave in and tried it to see what all the fuss was about"- NOT "I camped Internet Forums for 6 hours a day and bitched about it because all of my clanmates now play it". It is a good game, bad games and boring games don't earn 10 million subscribers. You imply that everyone that plays WoW are kids, but take a long hard look at your own immature mentality.

You haven't really looked at the BF2 leaderboards in a while have you? Every game has 'hardcore' players and people that basically play it for a living. It's their choice- why does that deter you from playing it? Why does that even ruin your own enjoyment? Your reasoning doesn't make a lot of sense. What's fun for some isn't for others. And, I'm quite sure you won't get into the finer points of any game by giving it a paltry 10 minutes. But, that's your choice, and I can't really say that the WoW community would miss people of your caliber .

I played WoW, it was alright. I guess I can see how it can get addicting, but I never got into it. I reached level 16 or something and then I realized I'd have to slaughter pigs and murlocs for hours on end before I could enter this cave to kill some monsters or the like, so I quit.
