I just watched an episode of Survivour Man. He had with him a boat, flares, diving gear, Fishing hooks, several changes of clothes, a floatable dingy, a leatherman and gasoline. Sounds like a well equiped camping trip to me. Sorry, Ill take Bear and his camara crew any day.
