well, 30-40 FPS is all the human eyes can recoginzed (at least I think so), but the more FPS you got, the better it is for your eyes...
I don't think it so much as needing a 100 for enjoyment, but needing a nigh fps to ensure against drop. I can tell say 30 form 60.Slayer wrote:

This is where this article gets even longer, but read on, please. I will explain to you how the Human Eye can perceive much past the misconception of 30 FPS and well past 60 FPS, even surpassing 200 FPS

Well i know about the cards but it has been economical decision, as wrote a bit earlier aim waiting for the top 8800gtx cards gets cheaper, the top cards cost about 400 euro here in Norway at the time being, so I'm going too wait for that! Well I've got COD4, and are looking forward too playing it, thx for the tip about the Crysis mp sucks ! I'm only after the Sp, so i guess ill manage without the eye candy! The most important now is too bee able too play the game! And i agree the enjoyment of the game is most important the rest is a bonus! :-Dspecialistx2324 wrote:
well my good watson. your going to need some fast ram with a lower cas latency to do the trick. get an 8800gt and everything else is okey, but dont expect to run this game will all the eyecandy on. the most powerful rigs out there can run this at very high resoultions between 20-35 fps.tor11 wrote:
OK i guess ill get a beating for this but i have too ask this question because i know there a lot off computer wizards here!

Thx too all who answers!
why dont you get COD4. the SP you can beat in 4 hrs unless you are a noob, then there is the spectacular MP everyones gryping about. Crysis has superb SP but every dude here knows the MP is as crappy as hellgate london.
COD4 is more bang for the buck m8. but im just wasting my 2 min giving u this message when all your going to do is run to the store and get crysis.
truth is m8, any decent computer for the last 3 years can run crysis. there is one rule u are forgetting: THERE IS A BIG ASS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RUNNING THE GAME, AND ENJOYING THE GAME.
i could run and enjoy the demo, even to this day i have the demo. but i have to dial down the graphic quite a bit just to get a decent 30-40 fps.
sorry im broke, but thats the reason im using my money for important things in my future. i got a crappy 7800gs AGP card. but i refuse to kill my wallet/ bank for another computer upgrade again. im done with things like that already.
Np m8, just dont put all your eggs in one basket, if ya know what i mean. crysis does look better than COD4, but i feel that it is lacking the entire package that COD4 has.tor11 wrote:

I do understand what u mean! But did buy the game out watch critics it got, and it appeals too the type of game i prefer! But thx for using your time on this, i did only use Crysis as a standard on how large my new PC had too bee, so i don't have too change it in the near future! My hopes are greatest on COD4, that is the game I'm looking forward too play, but i got a nice discount on the buy if i ordered several games, so i have bought: COD 4, Crysis, Medal of honor air born and gears of war!specialistx2324 wrote:
