BF2S Forums Real or fake this year?

Real. Same as for the last two years. Same tree, too, we keep it in a pot in the garden all year and water it and turn it around so it gets sun.

And yes, it's still alive. Bit mucky on the bottom, but it's so much cheaper than buying a new one every year. Especially when you can't just drag it outside when you're sick of the sight of it and put a match to it, as there's no space to up here.
Now it just gets dragged out and stuck back in the corner.

I prefer them as well. If I were German I might consider a real tree as it is their tradition, but as a lazy, overfed American I'll go for fake.

Fake. Pre-wired for lights, too. Just as pretty, no cleanup required.

I don't know, I love the smell and authenticity of real but fake is so much easier to get in the house, it's not as messy, and it'd be cool to get one with those fiber optic lights (just plain white though). Not pre-decorated though, that's the best part other than XMas morning itself.

If I had kids, I could see the reasoning. 

No tree necessary.
