Honestly, this fucking PB crap made me quit BF2 but now its not allowing me to play COD4.

Is this a known issue and what can I do to fix this.

ok, 1st DL PBservice (http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsvcfaq.php) ..run it..2nd..check ya router, try to tweak it,,honestly I do not know why people try to play Mp games online with a router, 3rd, is your PB all up todate ?, do you have full admin rights on ya comp ?? both firewall ( router/networkcard ) letting PB through ? both PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB ??also try this:...click. start.settings.control panel.Administrative  tools..click on services, and then look for PnkBstrA  and B <>..check properties and make sure both are set for Automatic..also try this old school tweak program  http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php set it to 2MB ..plus use ccleaner .http://www.ccleaner.com/download

I had this problem some months ago. I found out it was due to my harddisk settings which were set incorrectly in bios. I have three disks set in raid5, but there are two different settings in bios that has to be set properly. Which ones depends on your motherboard. Mine is Asus P5B Deluxe. Default settings are allways E-IDE which is wrong. They have to be set to Raid.

I constantly were kicked by PB with that insane message "loosing key packets". Sometimes I was allowed to play for one hour before I was kicked, but mostly I got kicked after a couple of minutes playing.

I also experienced crashes when starting up my computer. Can't remember which one, but one of those bluescreen errors, well one in ten startups. This error was also solved when reinstalling vista - YES - If having installed vista with wrong disk settings, u'll have to change the settings, next reinstalling vista. Only thing that works!

If u are not running a raid setup, then I have no clue. But if u do - start looking at your bios settings.
