I myself am I person of color and I am dismayed by the thread about black people commiting the most crimes. I see it has been closed, but my question is why hasnt the thread been deleted entirely? Or the person that created the thread disciplined (if they havent)? Isnt this a site about things BF2 statistics and such and not about slanderous "racial statistics"? It was bad enough dealing with the rascism in-game from these cowards that say these things from the safety of their home hiding behind a computer screen, which was getting out of hand until recently servers started banning for it (when/if a ADMIN is present). But now it is acceptable on forums such as these because it is categorized under Debate and Serious Talk? I am not trying to cause trouble, but that thread should have never been allowed to be posted in the first place because it is not a "debate" or "serious talk", aside from the fact that it has NOTHING to do with BF2. I am not sure if this site had moderators or not (apparently not) such as filefront, but whoever is in charge of this site should have never let that garbage be posted. Speech should be free, but rascism should cost you.

plus this forum is more than bf2, thats why it has sections such as the one you mentioned and not bf2, not bf2s.
plus i dont remember seeing anything racist in there, i remember people posting their opinions based on their life experiances so far.

Look, we are not racists here. non of us are and I have yet to see a racist thread here, (I do remember posting a long comment on that "Blacks Commit the most crimes thread too.)
That thread in question, was simply a debate. It wasn't, "Blacks commit the most crimes, lets talk about it," It was more, "The commonly believed thinking is that blacks commit the most crimes. Discuss."
I have also seen the topic titled "Bomb the Middle-East," (or something of that nature.) not the best name for a topic, and this was bordering on rascist, but a lot of the comments there were serious and thought out, few of which would be considered offensive to anyone.
Thank christ we're not uptight about being politically correct. We're not PC, because we do discuss issues, that are seen by some as rascist, (they're not.) I'm glad we tackle these issues here. They are both interesting and informative and it is good to be able to have a spirited debate on a topic that may be called taboo by others.

i am not a racist as i c it but hear me out and answer me this. i cant say anything demeaning to another race ie: the n word, towel head or any of that stuff with out causing a riot. this in itself doesnt bother me. but y is it ok for a white person to be called white trash or honkey, cracker, snowflake or anything eles of the sort. all of you ppl who cry racism should take a look at the double standard u create. also the n word cant be that bad if it is a term of endearment between 2 african americans now is it?

I think you should let them post their racist shit. Why? First becuse freedom of speech but also becuse the only way we can defeat racism is by talking about it and make the racists realize what the hell they are doing. You can't just shut them up and expect them to just grow out of it. I know that if you bring it out in the open and talk about it they will eventually see how wrong they are.

A couple of racist remarks have been deleted by Mods in the past, so I should say that the forum is moderated well.
