[Silkroad Online] Accounts got owned hard

The F2P MMO game Silkroad online has been plagued with 'hacking' incidents since its release. Its a popular game, globally, and offers a unique way to war and pvp with opponents. It also takes a stupid amount of effort to build whats considered decent char then add to that the good kit you need to make him 'uberfuckinprawn'.....so fuck it you use a 3rd party bot programme to do the hard work 24/7.

Anyway, some clever little cock found a way (some fuckin exploit in useless system security blah blah blah) to change vital account access details with one single peice of information, the account ID. (You would normally need the account ID, registered e.mail and secret question answer) Now add to this that the database was also 'lifted' partially or in full, revealing a severe amount of account ID's.....this amounts to some serious account ownage thus peoples games gettin completely ruined.

Including mine.....clever little cunts.

i played it for a while but then i got totally bored, the login sucks and i think there are much better (free/illegal) MMORPGS

I Alpha tested SRO, Closed-Beta tested SRO, and Open-Beta tested SRO.

It's a piece of shit. Repetitive generic grindfest with little merits, and the only thing enticing the community to play on is the promise of bigger more flashy numbers. That "clever little cunt" probably did you a favour, to be honest . And, if you're partial to MMO's (i.e. if you'll tolerate the terrible shite that is SRO)- then you'll probably find World of Warcraft to be the greatest thing on the planet.

Despite all the bad abuse WoW gets, it truly is the pinnacle of MMO gaming nowadays (in terms of accessibility, simplicity matched with challenge, lifespan etc.). Do it!

2nd Would have to be a tie between Guild Wars or Lord of the Rings Online(Only played the CB for about 7 months, longest CB EVER.!!!)

Im not angry, im being humourous about the whole situation. yeah i dont like something that belongs to me being taken but im hardly looking over the face of a cliff about it all. so read the post again then fuck off. also add to the fact its affected other people than just my account getting taken. the little shit asked me what my account was worth cos i could 'buy' it back, he was suprised to hear that i couldnt give a flying fuck about my char, i just logged off the pc and got into bed with Antonia and proceeded to plough her face into the pillow and roger her silly, so yeah........ive since found out the little fuckstick who took my account is one of the no life pricks whos life only existed on SRO, kudos to him i guess.

OT: yeah WoW here i come, Silkroad was fun cos i was capped, farmed and had some good friends, we robbed everyone and had fun. Yeah i botted to cap, from lvl 57 i botted, it made it fun tbh.

i'll be starting on Shattered Hand server, alliance, with some mates. looking forward to it already
