Lag during airstrikes (Multiplayer)

I get lag during air strikes while playing on-line. During an air strike, gameplay get extremely choppy. Does anyone else experience this and does anyone know how to remedy this?

I have an nVidia 6600 video card with 256 mb and my processor is an AMD Athlon 64 3200+. I have 1 Gb of ram.

I believe that I have my graphics settings on low. Any suggestions?

i would say it's the computer, because thats the minimum (i think)
