I havent used the GL one yet actually, rofl.
GL's are awsome but they can be a bit gay at times. I mostly hate SMG's with double tap and LMG's in general but hey thats just me.

Cant be bothered with screen shoots but my favorite loadouts are:
For Hardcore S&D
M14 with red dot - one shoot kill with no sway, better than any sniper. (can be replaced on very VERY small maps)
Silenced pistol (any) - In case the other guy doesn't see you. Also 2-3 shoots with pistol are enough so you dont really need a SMG or something.
- Extra grenades or maybe claymores.
- UAV Jammer - a must have perk on hardcore S&D.
- Dead Silence thing - combined with UAV Jammer is sweet. Another option is Last stand since, again, pistols are very good on HC.
- For other gametypes is basically Overkill with 2 guns, GLs, martyrdom etc.

I only play hardcore which is why there is no stopping power or i would use it pretty much on all weapons cept maybe the barret. and the only reason i dont use red dot is because it is a waste of an added advantage. most of the guns have decent sights, except for the AK, and the m60, and maybe the mp5, but im happy with a m16 or AK for my CQC anyways.

^ They are some nice kits, I think your first kit is all thats needed for hardcore mode to be honest. I used a kit much like it for a few days. The m16 with steady aim you can just aim with crosshairs and hit just about anything from a decent range.
