Some of you all know you can almost customize anything in cs:s. I just wanted to let you all know how you can go about changing the background in source. I had trouble doing this and I just wanted to share.

1. You need this program called Vtfedit Download that and instal http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?c=178
2. Download one of the gui's from http://www.fpsbanana.com/guis/13089
3. Open the picture up with vtfedit
4. Go to file save as into counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\console "save file as "background01.vtf "
5. if you don't have a console folder all you have to do is create one.
6. If you don't like the picture after using it for a while, all you have to do is delete the picture in your console folder and it will revert back to default
Have fun and enjoy.
